Opening the refrigerator is now a pleasure rather than a treasure hunt!!!!!!!! The best surprise after purchase was that the lids have a clear circle in the center of them allowing light into the top of the container. At last! I can SEE perfectly what I have stored because the food shows up so well being lit from above as well as all around! These are the best food storage containers on the market. As is typical, I did a lot of research.
As is typical, I did a lot of research and found nothing better available anywhere. They seal perfectly. They are freezer safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. The lids seal very, very well and storing one's food in glass just makes good sense. The lids can be lifted slightly for microwave and, of course, the glass doesn't stain with tomato based products, or curry or such. You will probably immediately notice how BAD your other storage really is. I replaced ALL of my other containers in a one day swoop and am pleased, pleased, pleased at the service and the look that these offer. I feel, well, so up-graded!!!!! These may be a small luxury you give yourself just to avoid all the hassles all of the other storage systems have! Go for it. I don't see how you could regret it!
