(More customer reviews)Our microwave was delivered and installed on 6/28, it worked for twenty minutes. On 7/3 the repairman came to fix it, he ordered parts. On 7/18 he returned with parts, however, the microwave is still in parts on the kitchen floor, numerous calls to everyone concerned with it (Whirlpool, Lowes, the installers, and an 'authorized' repair facility) and have garnered only apologies. I believe this was an item that needed more research before purchase. So as the title says, beautiful to look at because that's all we can do, and actually since it's in parts on the kitchen floor, it isn't even that.
(ASIDE) The Whirlpool folks were particularly apologetic, it seemed as though they were trained to say, "I'm sorry and there's nothing we can do.", as they managed this in a pleasant, polite, and smarmy manner.

(More customer reviews)This has to be one of the best deals around, even at twice the price, because it replaces so many other things, and is so durable.
The containers work nicely for food storage, but they also can be used for cooking. They go from freezer to oven or microwave, and are dishwasher safe as well. Pyrex is practically unbreakable. With normal use, this set could easily last a lifetime. At the current price, they actually cost less than plastic containers, which do not have either the durability or versatility.
If all that's not enough, consider the health benefits. Glass will not leech plasticiser into your food, and there's no dioxin to worry about when microwaving.
I don't usually rave about kitchen items, but after I recieved this set, I rushed back to order another. I'm getting rid of most of the plastics in my cabinets today!

They arrived today and I should probably wait for a day to see how they actually hold up going to school, but I am really excited about these boxes! On first glance they appear to be too small, but when I really think about how much lunch my kids are really able to consume in their short lunch period at school, I think it is just right and will prevent waste. I did try to close them up tonight and flip them over to see how lunch would fare in transit and, because of their small size and how tightly packed I had to make them, nothing moved. I didn't even use the inner tightly sealing lid on the top.
Edited: They made it to and from school without spilling. The kids were able to use the bands on them to reclose them. No problems whatsoever and they didn't even eat everything in the boxes!

(More customer reviews)This cart is exactly what I was looking for. It's more stylish and roomier than some of the other carts I found online. The pull out middle drawer and built in power strip are a nice touch. Spacious enough for a mid size microwave. We have a 1.1 cubic ft microwave on the top shelf, and two coffee makers on the pull out shelf: regular drip coffee maker and an espresso machine. We use the bottom shelf for a fruit bowl, and the pull out drawer for table linens. The shipping was expensive, but I shopped around and even with the $[...] shipping charge, the overall total was less than other sites that had the cart listed at a higher price, but with less expensive shipping. All in all, I would recommend this cart.

The vent is not supposed to pop by itself. You pull it up to vent it. If you do that, the lid does not pop off and the mug works great. If you want to take it somewhere or store it in fridge or freezer, then you close the vent. I love this product. It's great for soup and the kids' Chef-Boy-R-Dee! Perfect size! The one drawback is the small cord that comes with the item and the fact that it is a 3-prong plug so we had to get a 3-prong extension cord, but obviously, that is extremely minor. This gadget makes great hard boiled eggs!!!!! The first time i put raw eggs in the unit i did not snap the top on correctly and the eggs started oozing out the sides. Once I snapped the top on correctly the eggs stopped oozing. I also misjudged the time need to cook the hard boiled eggs. All i did is put the unit back together and microwaved the eggs for 90 more seconds and the eggs were cooked perfectly!
During my first test run I figured out how to correctly assemble the eggspress and time needed to fully cook the eggs. the eggs taste great! Some of the eggs are a little rubbery on the top side. The eggpress is a quick and easy way to make hard boiled eggs!!! Not having to peel the shell off of the eggs is a real plus!!!!!!!

It comes in kit form and requires careful study of the instructions before assembly which took about an hour with some help from another person. The resulting cart is handsome and sturdy. The black, full-size microwave countertop oven that I purchased to go on top fits so well that most people think that the two, cart and the microwave, were purchased together and made for each other. The drawer works but is a little hard to pull out even after greasing the wood rails that it rides on. I won't use the drawer that much anyway.

I ordered the clear glass 4 quart bowl to replace it and have found the new one to be more than satisfactory. I like the clear glass better than the old opaque glass that was yellow on the outside and white on the inside. The size is just right. And best of all, I did not have to go shopping to replace the broken bowl. Thank you Amazon.com!!!

I had been to a Pampered Chef party where they were promoting using their clay ware in the microwave. I was not sure if the Schlemmertoph would be the same. It worked very well in the microwave. I had to remember to turn off the turntable. The recipes are basic. I liked the ones I tried. I have more than 100 cookbooks that I use. This is not my favorite, but there are many more recipes in it to try.
