(More customer reviews)I bought this recently and used it for deep frying, once. After being clipped on the side of the pan for 15 minutes at 375 degrees, the face melted and gooed onto my stove. Who makes a thermometer dial face out of plastic, and even worse... plastic that can't stand the heat near what it is measuring?? What a piece of junk.
