(More customer reviews)I bought one of these mugs ten years ago, right down to the same color as the one in the picture. And mine is sitting here next to me, full of hot coffee, like it has been every day for each of those ten years. It still keeps my coffee quite warm for hours even with the drink aperture open. Even the rubbery grip stuff on the bottom hasn't peeled off after all this use! I've loved this mug from day 1 and probably would shed a tear if it ever breaks, which it seems in no hurry to do thankfully.
It's not going to be suitable for most people that like to take theirs in a vehicle because the base is very wide and wouldn't fit into the even the most generously sized cup-holder, but since I sit at the computer all day I want something that isn't going to tip over and fritz my equipment. And it never has. The only time I've ever spilled any is because I plain missed my mouth while trying to take a drink, but that's my fault, not the mug's. The lid fits very snugly on top, at times I have to warm up my super powers to get it off after a particularly hot fill, but to me this isn't a problem but a feature because it's definitely going to keep your beverage inside it if you should drop it or tilt it too far. It also does cold very well, I've had many an iced coffee or chocolate milk with this too. I can't remember if the instructions say it's microwave safe or not, so you'll have to double check, but I've done it with no ill effects.
The only reason I'm looking for a new one is that I don't have to run our dishwasher every day and would like to have a second one available so I don't have to scrub mine out by hand. (Lazy much? Yes.)
If this style of mug suits you I couldn't recommend it more. You'll be happy with it for a long, long time.

A good coffee mug is like a comfortable pair of Jeans or your favorite boots it just feels "right". For years the 20 oz Wide Body mug was available at most Gas Stations and Convenience Stores. A few years ago they suddenly disappeared from the market and haven't been seen since. Well, we found the mold and arranged for a special production run of mugs. The Aladdin style mugs are great. They are double wall insulated and unlike other mugs on the market, they are foam filled so they are far superior at keeping drinks hot or cold. These rugged mugs are both dishwasher and microwave safe. The lid snaps on tight and has a spill-resistant slide cover for the drink hole. The mug has an ergonomic handle and a skid resistant base. It is green in color with a black top. There is no printing or graphics on this mug.
