(More customer reviews)I've owned other Bodum double-walled glasses and they are pretty great. They lasted perfectly for years if they didn't wind up exploding in an accidental drop (they are fragile). These are another story. They have a "breathable" disc on the bottom. The idea is the gas inside can contract/expand to withstand drastic temperature changes. Unfortunately, this causes steam to get inside the double-walls leaving the glass stained and permanently cloudy and dirty looking. So don't wash these in the dish washer to avoid the cloudiness.
