I usually put the pot in a microwave for a minute before use( yes, it is microwavable!), and honey comes out so easily. I have Le creuset canisters and butter crock, and this honey pot sits next to them on my kitchen counter .. and it looks just so adorable. Although my canisters & butter crock are in cherry red , this honey pot has the same gradualness of the color shades ( deeper color at the bottom) and they look so good together. Very satisfied with this honey pot.
