(More customer reviews)I got these sengWare plates so we could "downsize" from our flying saucer sized dinner plates to something more modest - and hopefully do the same for our derrieres in the process.
These plates are just lovely. The color is breathtaking, entrancing, as well as the high gloss finish. The shape is modern & trendy, with just the right amount of angle on the corners, just the right amount of curve along the sides, to keep them gentle and shapely, not sharp and severe, very nicely balanced and beautiful.
The plates are quite hefty and substantial. They hold a good-sized meal without being over-filled - they are "right-sized" as the vernacular goes. They are a pleasure to sit down to, just really nice to use, "better than the average bear", if dinner plates were bears.
We've been using them several weeks, maybe a couple-three months, including running them through the dishwasher repeatedly, and no problems at all, they show no wear at all, no chips or speckling or crackling in the glaze etc.
Highly recommended. I might have talked myself into getting some more. We really do love them. It's like eating off a work of art.
