(More customer reviews)this is a great spoon for the first several months of solid feeding. the bowl is more shallow than a lot of spoons out there so you don't have to angle the spoon upward to scrape the food off with your baby's upper gums. this lets your baby learn to bring her lip down herself to close her mouth around the spoon as you pull the spoon out. very easy to use. the bowl is not too narrow or small, just right for purees and thicker, lumpier textures. because of the more shallow bowl, the spoon is not great if you have a thinner, runny puree. the quality of the spoon is great. the plastic construction is smooth, so no food gets stuck anywhere. simple to clean and no visible wearing down of the material. we've been using this spoon for 2 months with no staining, or maybe because the spoon is orange we can't see the stains. overall a better baby spoon.
