(More customer reviews)I have used mine for over a year and am so thrilled that I came back to Amazon to purchase two more. I like that only glass is touching my tea and it is not picking up any toxic or metallic tastes. I originally purchased in August 2009 along with Primula PTA-3512 Tea Maker with Infuser / Primula PTA-3512 Tea Maker with Infuser and much prefer Teas Etc 12-Ounce Glass Brew Mug with Glass Brew Basket and Lid / Teas Etc 12-Ounce Glass Brew Mug with Glass Brew Basket and Lid for several reasons. First, when you pour hot water into the glass infuser, the water flows readily through the slits in the bottom in the Teas, Etc mug but is slow in the Primula mug so that I have to stop pouring a couple of times and wait for the water to catch up flowing from the infuser into the mug and leveling off. Secondly, the Teas, Etc basket is bigger than the Primula infuser basket which is probably what causes the slowdown discussed in reason number 1. Thirdly, Once brewed you remove the lid, invert it to the counter or table, remove the infuser basket letting the sieved tea flow through to your mug and set the infuser basket on your inverted lid which you can use as a coaster. This is how both mugs function but let me tell you that the Primula glass gets much hotter than the Teas Etc so that you will want to use something to protect your hand from burning; I can comfortably hold the Teas Etc glass infuser basket and it feels soothing not at all burning. Fourth, the the slits are easier to clean on the Teas Etc than the Primula. The only thing I can see about the Primula that some might consider superior is that it is a little larger and maybe possibly thicker? Maybe not, the difference is negligible. The look of either adds to the tea enjoying experience; CHEERS!
