Having used several other microwave poachers, I can say that not only is the Trudeau design easy to use and clean up, but that it is the ONLY one that has NEVER had an "egg fail"--that is, when despite plenty of fork-stabs to the yolk to prevent it from happening, the egg literally explodes in the microwave, resulting in a horrid mess to clean up. Poached eggs made in the microwave are so much faster than using a pan and boiling water. Try it!!
