I came across this Magic Chef unit and couldn't believe the price: A replacement for $150? I ordered the unit and didn't expect that much. What I got is a great working microwave with features I didn't have on my old unit. It has more internal space and with he recessed turntable I can cook and defrost much large food items than before. The fan is extremely effective although it's quite noise on full, but so it was on the old unit as well. I have noticed that some of the details like hinges and such seems a little bit more flimsy than on the old unit. We'll see as the years go by and this unit is used several times a day to feed my four kids if it holds up. But the first couple of months has been a great experience, and I can replace this one twice without it costing more than some of the units I saw at the appliance store.
