(More customer reviews)I purchased this bowl set specifically because they can safely be used in microwave. Not all plastic mixing bowls can. They are very sturdy and the pour feature is helpful. They "nest" together for storage which is a bonus in my small kitchen. I also like the fact they are very stable when you are using them with a mixer. No rocking or tip over at all.
