(More customer reviews)The steaming works as advertised. Bought at Macy's and returned because I wasn't happy with the product. Description is not accurate: only the colander component and lid are made of silicone, the transparent bowl and divider plate are made of hard plastic (needed to hold its structure/form, otherwise food and liquid would spill out). What bothers me is that the hard plastic retains strong odors like garlic after just one use. Also it doesn't indicate if that plastic is BPA free or not.
