(More customer reviews)I was very surprised at the price of this Kenmore microwave offered on Amazon, because I ordered the exact same model (69079) directly from Sears. The oven alone cost $59.00 and with shipping and tax the total price was $76.68.
This model cooks at 700 watts but because of the small size of .7 cubic feet heats stuff as quickly as my old Sharp 1.2 cubic feet which cooked at 900 watts. The model has a child lock and the usual cooking selections, such as quick touch for popcorn, potatoes, frozen entrees, fresh vegetables, etc. You can also perform multi-stage cooking. The key pad is sensitive to a slight touch, you do not have to poke hard.
I am giving this micro five stars although I haven't had the oven for very long. If the unit does not hold up well I'll adjust the stars, but so far I am very happy with my choice!
