I was so excited to get this, as I gazed at it, in wide-eyed, slack jawed wonder at the enormous size of it, I realized that it must go back.
The box is fine, lovely picture, and it has a divided insert for the top box, it seems well made - (note the divider will not keep small items, crackers or nuts separate as there is space along top and bottom for leakage between the divider. Since the divider isnt even mentioned I dont think this is mark against it) I dont want to give it a bad review, as the dimensions are right there, in black and white: a 7.5 inch square that is almost 5 inches high. think about it a while....
It just didnt compute in my head - until I got this. If you are looking at a bento to aid in portion control, this is not the box. If this is a box for a grade schooler - this is not the box.
If this is a bento for a sumo wrestler, or a football player, or more like a football team - you may have found a winner. Before you order this, and pay almost 50.00 for a luch box, make a little paper model the size of the above dimensions.
If this is for portion control, or a kid, or you want it to fit in your bag or briefcase, go with the other saikon cat bentos - they are much more reasonably sized.
