(More customer reviews)I purchased these bulbs as a replacement for a small Lava Lamp which was given to me by a Google Executive after I hacked Gmail back in January 2005.
The light bulbs work perfectly for giving light, but do not get hot enough to make the lamp function properly. I guess they are just more efficient than the one they replaced.
Should be fine for lighting applications, not so fine for Lava Lamps.
