All you have to do is fill the built in filter with coffee, drop it into a mug filled with water, microwave for a minute or so and then stir the filter around until the coffee is as strong as you want it. It works.
Now, to be honest, you can make a pot of coffee with an instant coffee maker in the time it takes to make one cup with the FitzAll. However, when you just need one or when you're somewhere (for example at work) and don't have access to a coffee maker this little beauty does the trick.
