(More customer reviews)I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered these pots, but they were very inexpensive, and looked promising. They arrived today, 12 days after I placed my order, and I was quite pleased and surprised to find that they are made of reasonably solid and heavy microwaveable plastic, and the sizes are perfect for storing and food reheating. The lids fit quite snugly for food storage, and they have tabs of the side to allow easy opening. With the circular ridge on each top, they can be put on upside down while in the microwave oven to allow steam venting, while helping to contain any small bursts of food.
The handles are shipped loose, to be inserted into place on each pot, and they aren't designed to be removed. They should be quite helpful in safely handing the pots when the contents are very hot. The underside of the handles isn't finished as nicely as the tops, but not a problem, especially given the price of these items.
All in all, this was the best buy of the microwave cooking items I have ordered recently. They are labeled as OK for the freezer, the dishwasher, and the microwave.
